General terms and conditions for accommodation and stay

These general terms and conditions govern the relations between the hotels regarding the services provided and their guests

1. Reservation Terms and Conditions
1.1 Before you book your vacation with us, be sure we have available room for the dates you choose. You can do this in one of the following ways:

1.2 After making a reservation, you will receive a confirmation via e-mail or Viber. It will include the type and number of rooms booked, the number of nights booked, the dates of check-in and check-out, the meal plan, the number of guests – adults and children, the amount due, and the hotel’s bank account.
1.3 In order to secure your reservation, you must pay a deposit equal to the first night’s rate via bank transfer. Payment must be made within 3 / three / days of the hotelier’s confirmation of the reservation. Otherwise, the reservation is deemed void, and the hotel is under no obligation to provide accommodation for the guest.
1.4 The remainder of the reservation payment is due at the hotel at check-in.
1.5 When a customer makes a reservation at the Blue Bay Hotel or the Sunny Flower Family Hotel, they are deemed to have read and accepted the current general terms and conditions.

2. Reservation Cancellation Terms and Conditions
2.1 You may cancel a reservation that you have made in the following ways:

2.2 There is no penalty if you cancel a confirmed reservation 10 / ten / days or more before the date of check-in at the hotel. The advance payment you made at the time of booking will be refunded.
2.3 If you cancel a confirmed reservation less than 10 / ten / days before the date of accommodation, or if you do not show up on the day of accommodation, the advance payment equalling the value of the first night will be charged as a penalty.
2.4 The hotelier reserves the right to cancel a confirmed and paid reservation due to force majeure or other factors beyond the hotelier’s control. In these cases, the hotelier shall offer accommodation for another period while maintaining the same conditions and prices.
2.5 In case of early departure, no refunds will be made.

3. Accommodation Terms and Conditions
3.1. Check-in – after 14:00
3.2 Check-out – until 12:00
If you wish a late check-out option, you will be charged an extra fee:
Until 18:00 – BGN 50
3.3 Reservations are held until 24:00 on the day of arrival.
3.4 Children under the age of 11.99 are accommodated free of charge on a bed and breakfast basis.
3.5 Children over the age of 12 are accommodated under adult conditions and at adult fees.
3.6 Animals are not permitted at the hotel.
3.7 Personal identity documents are required upon check-in. The information you provide is protected in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and the regulations governing information protection, and it is processed exclusively in connection with the implementation of the Tourism Act’s obligations. This information will only be used to process reservations and will not be used for any other reason.

4. Payment Methods
4.1 On-site cash payment – on check-in date at the hotel
4.2 By debit or credit card on the spot – on the day of check-in at the hotel
4.3 By bank transfer – before check-in date at the following BGN account:

Reason – the reservation number and the name under which it was made

5. Rights and obligations of the parties
5.1 The hotelier agrees to provide the guests with the services they have requested and paid for.
5.2 Amounts paid for services requested but not used in full or in part due to the hotel guests’ fault are non-refundable.
5.3 The cost of additional services is not included in the final price and must be paid separately.
5.4 In compliance with national law, smoking is prohibited in the buildings of both hotels. In the event of a violation, the hotelier maintains the right to impose a penalty of BGN 100 without previous notification.
5.5 Hotel guests are obligated to follow commonly accepted standards of good behaviour during their stay. All material damage to the hotel is paid for by the individuals who caused it.
5.6 It is prohibited to bring or take food and beverages during breakfast and dinner.

6. Protection of valuables
The safe at the Blue Bay reception is available to guests of both hotels. It is charged as an additional service.
The hotel is not responsible for valuables or money left outside of the safe, both in the rooms and in the hotel’s communal spaces.

7. Lost property
The hotelier is not responsible for personal belongings that are lost, damaged, or stolen. Found items are stored at the reception desk for 10 calendar days. After this time, the hotel reserves the right to dispose of them or donate them to a charitable organization.
